I offer a coaching service to runners of all abilities.
For individuals or groups, my coaching is tailored to your exact needs, respecting your own goals and fitness levels.

I specialise in preparing runners for Park Run, 5k, 10k, Half and Full Marathon training, across the running spectrum.
​
Qualified to meet all your running coaching needs, I currently coach at Horsham Joggers, Horsham Blue Star Harriers and Mel's Milers Jogging Club.
My History
The Pleasure of Running
I took up running in 2011 to sustain and improve my levels of health, fitness and general wellbeing and joined my local running club, Horsham Joggers.
I ran my first Half Marathon in 2012 and The London Marathon in 2013, both for the charity Ovarian Cancer Action, to raise money and awareness of this disease having lost my mother to it back in 2009.

I also joined Mel's Milers Jogging Club based at Bluecoat Sports Health and Fitness Club.
​
The running community is one of the most welcoming and positive worldwide. As a long haul airline pilot I have had the privilege to run globally and meet some incredible people in the process. Park Run is a fine example of this spirit whether in Horsham or San Francisco; the warm welcome is always the same.
My enthusiasm for running spurred me on to give something back to the community by initially volunteering at Park Run as well as helping with club events. This lead me on to my real passion which was to become a running coach in order to help others enjoy running as much as I do.

I qualified with UK Athletics as a Leader in Running Fitness in March 2018 and a Coach in Running Fitness in January 2020. Now I am a UK Athletics Event Endurance running coach, all of which incorporate DBS checks.
​
I live in Horsham, West Sussex, with my wife and daughter where I currently coach at various running clubs. I also offer group and personal 1:1 sessions.
